Part-time teaching courses in RAD Ballet (CBTS) and ISTD Modern & Tap (FDI & CDE).
Mrs Janne Carrington, A.R.A.D. (Adv), trained with Joanne Kitson and the Wessex School, and was awarded a scholarship by The British Council with The Kirov Ballet. She enjoyed a professional dance career with London Festival Ballet and Vienna State Ballet, later moving into Musical Theatre, Television and Pantomime, and was named Choreographer of the Year by the Evening Echo for 'West Side Story'. She is an RAD Examiner for the Certificate and Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies.
Layla Haskell is Head of Modern Theatre.
Georgia Carrington holds an MA in Musical Theatre from the Royal Welsh College and a BA (Hons) from Warwick. She trained at Hollywood Academy of Dance before performing in numerous university and Edinburgh Fringe productions, and now choreographs for the academy's senior students.
Harry Rolph trained at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and the London Contemporary Dance School. He teaches at the Rambert School, leads the BOYS|ASPIRE programme, and also teaches adult ballet and covers at Pavilion Dance South West.
Leanne Frampton is an RAD qualified teacher with 19 years of local teaching experience, having trained at Hollywood Academy of Dance from the age of four. She now runs her own pre-school ballet classes and leads the Bournemouth franchise of Jiggy Wrigglers.
Lydia Povey trained locally and with the Royal Ballet School Associates programme, later performing at Disneyland Paris before qualifying as a teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. She is a qualified ballet, tap and contemporary teacher working freelance across the local area.
Jasmine Matthews studied at Hollywood Dance Academy from age 2 for 16 years, going on to gain qualifications in dance from Bournemouth and Poole College, Bournemouth University and Bath Spa University. She now works in community arts management and also acts as Stage Manager for the academy's productions.
Sam Rodulfo trained with Janne Carrington before graduating with First Class Honours in Theatre Dance from the London Studio Centre. She has performed with several ballet companies including the English National Ballet and continues to teach between contracts.
Josh Piper trained at The Hollywood Academy of Dance and graduated with a Musical Theatre Diploma from Performers College, London, going on to dance professionally in Christmas shows and on cruise ships. He also takes Jazz/Commercial workshops.
Corinne Rigler, ALCM, studied at The London College of Music and has been the academy's accompanist for almost 40 years, as well as resident pianist for two local Musical Theatre Companies.
